do you have to do a childminding course if you already have a childcare qualification

Looking at becoming a childminder, i already work in a nursery & have my level 4 in childcare, would i still need to do a childminding course? can anyone help?

I had 8yrs experience in a nursery, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 and still needed to do the CYPOP5 course. There is a fair bit of overlap, but there are also things in it that are specific to home-based childcare. :thumbsup:

Yes. There are no exceptions everyone has to do it.

Yes everyone has to do it, i had worked in nurseries for years and am a qualified NNEB but still had to do the course :)
