Observations & timescales

Hi there
I need advice about timescales: How often do you do different types of Observation and related planning / next steps? eg: I am thinking of doing a monthly in-depth Observation, but could I stretch this to every six weeks? Interested to know other people's timescales. Ta :-)

I do a series of short obs through the month - and I try to do one longer focussed obs every 2 months or so :D
