We love mummys

I went to my sons class sharing assembly today. He is in reception. I had to hold back tears! They sang a lovely 'we love mummy's' song. It was the bit that went 'mummy's are for hugging, mummy's are for kissing, we love you, yes we do' that really got me! They had all done a painting of their mummy's, held them up and said why they loved their mummy. It was just about the loveliest thing I have ever seen.

We were invited into school yesterday to see Nursery and Reception perform their Mother's Day song. They all walked into the hall with a card and daffodil and had to find their Mum to give it to :blush:. It was a lovely touch. And they all sang their little hearts out!

Lol I went ds's who is in year 4 and it was tea and cakes for mum served by your child. I was greeted by how long are you staying I was watching a film in class, was quite relieved as absolutely packed had double buggy so had quick cuppa n cake and he went back to his film !!
