Hi I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the essential and basic toys I should have as a childminder. I plan to have a clear out as I have far too many toys.

It depends what age group you look after. The problem most of us have is that we look after a wide range of age groups so we need a lot of resources to ensure we have something for everyone. (This is not helped by the fact that my toy library has just closed so now I feel like I need even more as don't have that to fill the gaps!)

At the mo, Im looking after a one year old, two year old, three year old, four year old and after school kids.
