2 year check

Just wanted some advice really. I have a child who will be 3 very soon. They have been to a previous childminder before they started with me in november. After months of mum asking we still have no learning journal or daily diary. I have said that I would get in contact if she wanted me to but mum doesn't want to cause a fuss. This also means that they do not have a 2 year check which has been completed. What do I do? I'm really angry as the other childminder is accredited and rated outstanding by ofsted. I've not long been set up and I'm finding it difficult to understand why a childminder would react like this when someone leaves.

I'd do my own baseline assessment anyway when a child starts in my care which is very similar to a 2 year check... so maybe use that and start the LJ from there :D
