Somebody posted on here recently recipe for clay (cooking) i have got the recipe but what was the times and temp for cooking clay after it has been modelled . thanks

Didn't know you can make clay. will be interested in this as i alway's buy mine and it's air drying.

it's play dough not clay , not quite sure what the difference is . Homemade playdough is brill lot better than the normal clay and lasts longer . There is a recipe for doing models with and cooking i know the recipe but i was to tired to have written down the times .
It's
2 cups of plain
2 cups of salt
1 cup of water
But i just can't remeber how long u cook it 4 .
Theres lots of links on here for playdough recipe bit more ingredients.

I just cook mine over a low heat until it forms playdough, then let it cool slightly before kneading.

Thanks Miffy , but i'm after the one you cook in the oven after having modeled . I want to do daffodil brotches with the older children after school tomorrow night it was for st Davids day as i haven't got the time and temp i might do it as present for mothering Sunday .
