I have just been to a childminders meeting and we played with gloop. I had never heard of it, so learnt something new.
I will be doing this with my mindees and son next week. I'm sure they will love it.
To make you need cornflour and water. We also used cocoa powder mixed in.
Has anyone else done this with their mindees?

I used to take my little ones to a group where they do things like that in big builders trays...
Now I have a small cat litter tray as my messy tray and it's on the patio so it's manageable.
You could try adding a bit of hand cream as well - lovely and silky (being aware of allergies of course!)

Yeah we've done gloop.
We did it in a washing up bowl, added blue food colouring & put plastic ships & plastic coins in, was supposed to be like a pirates treasure type thing :laughing:

We did it this week at work. Two of the children put their heads in:laughing: . Luckily it washes out easier than paint.

i too do it in a litter tray or something similar

Yes, I do have to say we all loved it, couldn't stop playing with it.

all my kids love it too.
As the weather has been good today, we played with it in the garden...added food colouring and glitter... and the kids loved chucking it around.

Hi, what is the ratio of water to cornflower. Fancy doing this next week.

Well when we did it we put some cornflour on a tray and then just gradually mixed in water. Sorry can't be more help, just trial and error I think.

I made some for the first time when the children were asleep and played for a good 10 mns!!! this is so much fun! I love it :laughing: not sure I want to share though....
I suppose I can let them try a bit.

We love gloop too, the little ones always get excited when we use it.
