I came across this thread on Netmums.
A bar of soap or a necklace made from your breast milk to keep as a keepsake?

Would you or wouldn't you?

Would you buy soap made from YOUR breastmilk? (http://www.netmums.com/coffeehouse/general-coffeehouse-chat-514/news-current-affairs-topical-discussion-12/889444-would-you-buy-soap-made-your-breastmilk.html)

I loved breast feeding but I wouldn't want it in a soap, thank you very much! I don't see the point, it sounds a bit weird to me!

What next? Maybe soap made out of baby's first sick? Or a lovely necklace made out of the merconium (sp). Soon someone will come up with an idea of have necklaces made out of your toddler's milk teeth! For heavens sake! :p

Ok, I have breastfed all my children, one of them for 2 and a half years so you might say I am very pro breastfeeding. However soap made of my breast milk.
NO!

Not the soap, but I think the pendants are pretty. I can't decide if the idea of my milk being preserved in one would feel like a special keepsake, or just strange. I sort of see my three children as my mementos of breastfeeding.
