Paying Ofsted online

This may seem a stupid question but I did my application forms for Ofsted online, after submitting them I had my bank card ready to pay the £35 fee and I couldn't pay because they wanted an invoice number!!
I'm assuming I will be sent an invoice then I can pay online.
Totally dont understand being able to do the forms online then having to wait for a paper invoice to then go back on the net to pay it, doesn't make much sense to me.
Anyone have any experience of this?

Hi, You will get an invoice through the post. I thought the same thing as you! xx

My invoice came with a couple of days of applying on line - Think i rang up and paid on the phone.
