Receiving student funding

Hi Just wondered if I receive student funding whether I just put this down as income? (Its work related course and funding is to cover absences so covers what my income would have been)

Who is providing the funding?

I have to submit a request to the university and they pay it but the university paperwork refers to the teaching agency and their rules re disbursement of funds so I guess it comes from them?

Oh sorry, this income is not taxable an shouldn't be included anywhere on your tax return :D

Glad I saw this, as I had the same query. I just received a student grant from OU to cover course related expenses and wasn't sure if I should put it on my tax return
