I am just preparing for my first graded Ofsted inpection - I have just had the dreaded call.

I am looking at sharing information with the child's other setting and I have parental permission in place for this. What does everyone else do? Should I write a letter to the teacher? I have seen a letter to the teacher from the view point of the child. Has anyone got a copy of this they could attach for me or any suggestions for what you do.

Many thanks

It can be quite a challenge - I normally try and talk to them first and then if they are not receptive I will write and ask for them to communicate by letter.

Look on the walls of the classroom as well for ideas about what they are doing :D

Thanks Sarah, I am in the lucky situation that my only child that goes to another setting is in Reception and the same class as my daughter so I have a good idea of what's going on.

I'll had over a letter I think and talk through it...

Thank you - and thank you for Sef e book - that's what I have spent the last few days doing.
