Hello im after some advise on policies. I have written my own that are quite concise and to the point as I didnt want parents to have loads & loads of paperwork to go through and I have been told they are not enough. Have others written there own or got these from others sources?

i looked on sites to get a little input and ideas making sure i covered the essential points then changed and adapted them to suit my own circumstances.
I feel its better to go into more detail, i know that means more info for parents but at least all matters will be covered and it can't cum back on you. Other childminders sometimes put copies of their policies on their website, you could have a look at those to make sure all things are covered. It might mean you only have to add a sentence or too so might not be too bad
