Hello everyone, I have been a long term stalker of this site and I am at the final stages of the registration process. Paperwork, risk assessments are ready, i have had my CDSO do a visit and check on my house, Mine and my partners CRB's are at stage 4 and my health check will be posted on friday.

I am currently working in a nursery but I am very unhappy there for a number of reasons. I am considering handing my 6 weeks notice in now, in the hope that I will be registered by then! I know this is a bit of a risk and we will be able to cope on just my partners wages for a short time if needed.

If i wasn't registered after my notice was up I plan to volunteer at toddler groups ect and drum up some business that way!

Im not looking for answers, just feeling a bit lost and in need of some advice!

:)

I think its a little risky to be handing in your notice just yet. How long can you last on just your partners wage? Would you then have to find a job. It can sometimes take a while to find your first mindees.

Sorry for a negative post and welcome to the forum
