Where to begin

Hi I'm interested in becoming a cm need advice where to start from beginning

1 what courses or qualifications are needed
2 I have a staffy dog, what are rules with pets

Any info at all would be really appreciated as I'm completely new to this just not sure where to begin

You start by talking to your local authority childminding development officer (they call themselves different things through the country) and asking for the date of the next childminder training session.

Hopefully they have something available soon! :D

I have a dog, and its fine, children just get use to it and my mindees love taking him for a walk and throwing balls for him. 1 mindee was terrified of dogs (so the mum said) but he was fine.
