claiming for new laptop?

Hi all,
I just had to get a new laptop as my old one was giving up!!! I use it mainly for childminding but do use it for some personal stuff, can I claim the cost as an expense?

Hi Im sure u can claim a percentage of the cost if u use it for work. Double check with the tax office. I have a childminders guide to what u can and cant claim for and it say u can.
Call them and ask for a copy.

If you use it 80% for childminding, claim 80% of the cost under Annual Investment Allowance.
