Hi, I have a 4 year old girl who I have for a couple of hours once a week.
Since I've had her she is totally focused on hide-and-seek! I put out a selection of other activities, but she will try to avoid them and ask to play hide-and-seek most weeks. I assume she is going through an enveloping/enclosure schema as she has engaged in den building and various activities that involve hiding things in sand, boxes etc.
I have given her a penguin Christmas decoration which she painted over completely (enveloping), then coated it in another layer of different coloured paint (repeating several more times with a different colour paint). I am now running out of ideas of what we can 'hide' - does anyone have any pointers or suggestions for this type of schema?
I am hoping Sarah will say she has an e-book! :)
