In April this year my husband weighed almost 19st. His dedication led him to lose over 4 stone in 4 months and develop a love of running.
He completed his weight loss challenge and now has a new challenge.

In 2013 The challenge is called 13inthirteen, he will be running not 1 but 13 official 10km races in aid of a charity that we have a lot of time for the NSPCC. The challenge is to complete one official 10km race a month and to also set a PB at each race. One month he will have to compete in 2 races so he can hit the magic total of 13 races.
The aim is to raise a total of £2013 for the NSPCC. The list of races can be found on the FB page.

I am looking for ALL my friends to at least like the Facebook page and he will be looking for local people and business to sponsor and support him in this challenge.

The Facebook Page is here --> https://www.facebook.com/pages/13inthirteen/222473951218760
The Just Giving Page is here --> https://www.justgiving.com/13inthirteen

Thank you for taking the time to read this page

Well done and that time looks good for someone who only took up running this year, my hubby did a 10k this weekend in 47 mins - I think the organisers of the race were pleased with his time as on the entry form he put down his expected finish time as 1 hour 47 mins - which was his last half marathon time - plonker!

Good luck with your fundraising and for a cause all so dear to our hearts.
