not sure how often should your risk assessment be updated i do check every morning the rooms im using are fit and also the toys are checked every week to make sure there are no broken ones but will the inspector be looking for my risk assessment to be reviewed

I have a daily checklist of the simplest checks (laminated for re-use to save paper) which I go through each morning before opening.

I check toys/equipment each month, but also make a note on the check-sheet if I happen to find anything that needs attention in between.

I have a rolling programme of reviews for RAs and policies. I do one a week, so it isn't time-consuming but ensures they all get reviewed about twice a year.

The inspector was happy with all this.
