Thinking about going there with our DD (8) this year, I'm interested to know what you thought of it if you have been there?

It seems like an awful lot of money (will be in excess of £180 for 3 of us, plus food etc), however, I am of the mind that it is a once in a lifetime experience and something that my DD (and hopefully me and DH) will cherish for many years.
We will never get to do the real thing as it is just way too much money, so this is the next best thing,

But is it worth going? Would you recommend it?

We went the first year it was on, when it was at Bedgebury. We've not been since it moved to Bewl Water.
We had a great time and it was very magical. The only downside was there was a lot of waiting around between making the Gingerbread and seeing Santa. It was snowing when we went and was very cold and the children found it hard to keep warm.
Price wise it was a lot cheaper the first year, I'm not sure what they have added or made different to warrant the hike in price.

If you do go, I'm sure you will have a great time
