I have used the NCMA policies as the basis for mine, because I figure that they are tried and tested policies (?)
However, I may well have parents who are not comfortable with reading English and I am trying to keep my policies clear and manageable, but some of the NCMA ones seem rather 'all-encompassing'.
For example, I am required by my LA to have a Working in partnership policy, and the NCMA Behaviour management policy has a section which is concerned with partnership working.
Would it be okay to move that info to my WIP policy to keep the BM policy more focused, or are there good reasons for having it all in the BM policy?
Any advice gratefully received - I don't want to fall foul of Ofsted somehow, and I don't want to overwhelm parents either! :panic:
