Is anyone techy? Need help with font size on laptop.

New laptop (samsung if its relevant) and the font is too large, web pages don't fit on the screen properly and I have to scroll across to read posts etc.

I've had a look at the Control Panel and 'Standard' is ticked and the only other option is to untick that and tick the 'Large-125%' option but this doesn't seem to be right.

Any ideas?

when you have the internet open is there an option on the tool bar for "page" then "text size" should be a variety of sizes to choose from

failing that try right clicking on the screen choose graphics properties then display settings ...mine screen resolution is set at 1280 x 800...not sure if that will be any help though???

Yes that's worked- it was ticked at 160% so no wonder I was getting hypnotised by the words. I've changed it to 100% (normal) now and it looks lovely. I can actually see the forum properly.
