Leap Pad

Hello, I am wondering if any of you have bought your child a Leap Pad? if so I am wanting your thoughts on it please.
My daughter is 4 and I am wondering whether this would be right for her, she is quite forward for her age

I bought for my daughter never used it, it can be good reading along but battery runs out and something was not right with it and i am so impatient with it stuff couldnt work out what was wrong with it!!! so its just lying on the shelf:panic:

We had one and my son used it a lot. Still have it here somewhere with a load of books :)
