Space week - Salad spinner Planets

This is a quick and easy activity for all ages.

You will need;
Card (I like using black)
Paints
Glitter
Old salad spinner

Method;
Cut out circles of card, the same size as the inside of the salad spinner.
Lay a circle of card in the bottom of the salad spinner
Drizzles different coloured runny paints onto the card
Put the lid on and spin

When you take the card out to dry, sprinkle with glitter while the paint is still wet.

I then hung the planets to make a mobile.

If you don't have an old salad spinner, place the card into a tin with some marbles, pop the lid on and shake/roll the marbles around.
