CRB waiting!!

I've been waiting for my CRB for weeks now, it's on stage 4, f I call do you think it will hurry along?

mine took nearly two months..

When I spoke to Ofsted they refused to act on it till the two months had passed

I'd always ring and chase - just make sure all the forms are in the right places.

you'd be amazed how much paperwork gets lost :rolleyes:

You can't really hurry up the CRB, but I'd ring Ofsted anyway.

IME they seem use "still waiting for your CRB" as a universal answer for any delay. They gave me that answer a week after I'd received my CRB copy! I asked them to double-check and they admitted they had the CRB and were in fact waiting for a social services report from the last place I lived. Now that was something I could chase up - turned out it had been sitting in a LA in-tray for weeks. :angry:

Well it's been 6 weeks since I sent now, a month since the CRB site says it was recieved. I've been checking on CRB tracker not with Ofsted. Did chase up my Health Declaration with GP though and that was sitting in a drawer :panic:
Hoping to be registered by Christmas at this rate!!!!
