It was my sisters birthday a couple of weeks ago but she was away in Scotland at the time, so tomorrow, my sister, my niece and I are off to London for the day as a late celebration.
We are going to shop til we drop and then finish the afternoon off with High Tea at Harrods.

I must remember to stick my pinky out when I slurp, I mean sip my tea ;)

Oooooh, that sounds fantastic! I love days like that (not that I've had a day like that in years). Go to the loo before you go to Harrods. When we went years ago it cost £1 to use the loo - it might be even more now! x

oooo, lucky you, have fun, but don't stick your pinky out! Apparently it means you're a 'lady of the night'

We had a lovely afternoon, it was quite busy there, but had a good moouch around and picked up a few bits from the food hall to pop into the Cristmas cupboard.
Tea was a bit dissapointing, the bread on the sandwiches was very dry, I think they had been made and left out for a while, the service was very slow ( it took them 25mins to bring a pot of tea).
We couldn't eat all the cakes, so we bought them home with us which was nice.

I've had tea at Harrods before and it was much better :(

But all in all we had a great afternoon.
