I suppose I could make the slimming world version of chicken tikka but that would mean having to go to tesco and usually involves spending a lot more that i thought i would...

I have that spending more than I thought I would at Tescos curse too. Doesn't matter if I go in there for a full shop or just a loaf of bread £100 goes like magic from the account.

I've no children to cook for tonight and my son is off to his dad's. I'm treating myself to a pepper steak, thin fries and salad (with homemade coleslaw) and a nice glass (bottle!!!) of wine in front of the tv :D

My kids have a cooked lunch at school, hubby eats a cooked lunch in the mess, so we now just eat tea on a weekday. For the kids and hubby it'll be cheese sandwich, crisps, fruit and chocolate (dh went shopping so kitchen is now full of junk!). For me it'll be something boring like chili tuna on toast, with some veg :( can't have cheese or chocolate cos of dairy allergy and lactose intolerance, can't have much fruit cos have an allergy to fruit acids).

I did have smoked haddock, couscous and veg for lunch though - nom noms. I was hunted and stalked by the cats until I'd finished it ....as if I'd share my smoked haddock!

Am so jealous now. My chili tuna turned out to not be very spicy at all so was disappointing :(. Should have 'popped' down to you instead  still, I did get to out for an ale last night so shouldn't complain.
