How long do Ofsted take to reply to emails?

Anyone know? They rang me asking for proof that I had been on an ICP course, I said the course run here is called "childminding registration course" and they umm-ed and aah-ed a bit and asked me to email them a scan of the certificate i got on the course, which I did and asked them to reply saying if it was acceptable.. This was last week and nothing yet...

Always chase them... no guarantees they haven't lost the email.

Thanks, have emailed again but will consider phoning on monday if still nothing. It's made me doubt that the course I did is the right one, she made it sound as if it was too short to count as ICP and because it didnt have th right name I am now worried :-/

Different local authorities do call them different things - but the content is the same throughout the country.

It might be taking them a while to check with your training provider.

I'd ring - not wait until Monday - but then I would struggle with not knowing :laughing:

Have had a reply already and they said that the certificate I sent a scan of has been accepted, yay!
