Have you signed the anti-deregulation petition?

I presume you have gone into minding to be a self employed person who chooses your own terms and conditions of working - like setting your fees, choosing your own clients?

The government have mooted some rather frightening 'ideas' like de-regulating us (and by the sounds of it the rest of the childcare sector)... not good news for you... or your business, your clients or the children.

Please stop lurking, please stop 'waiting to see' - PLEASE sign the petition.... it only takes a few moments...

then slather it all over facebook and other social networks and the forums you frequent....

email it to friends, family, clients, colleagues....

sign it on behalf of your OH.....

its so important to get the government to sit up and realise they need to reconsider this silly ideas.
if you keep lurking/taking no notice etc then maybe soon it will be too late.....

I love my job with children, I love being self employed... I chose to be self employed because I didn't want to be employed.....

sign it now please, it takes a few moments.

Every signature really does help.

I know there are loads of IT literate childminders on here cause if they weren't they wouldn't be on here BUT I also know loads of other minders who are not IT literate and would sign the petition if there was a paper version - is it possible to get a paper copy and to add it to the electronic copy for the purpose of presenting it to parliament? I've asked before but never received an answer one way or the other.
