EYFS for ad hoc care

I have an ad-hoc arrangement with a family with a 3 year old and a 9 year old. The 3 year old attends pre-school and will only come to me occasionally. So, for the next 2 weeks this will be from 4-6pm twice a week, but after that I may not see her til the next school hols.

So, my understanding is, that I shouldn't have to do a full LJ as the preschool will be doing it. But presumably I still have to plan for her around the EYFS. But as she only attends 4-6pm this is a busy time of day, where I will be cooking dinner etc! Any thoughts on how best to manage this?

Plan using your routine - arrival, free play, some reading or singing, sitting with other children to eat etc.

Then you can note if anything different happens or special obs such as child doing new things ... add the odd photo... job done! :D
