Can I reg as Nanny too on Ofsted?

Hello,

So far I only got one mindee who started last Saturday! (parents come & quickly explained my p&p and they signed the contract!)

Now, I have other parent who askin me if I can be a nanny as her little lo go to bed by 7pm. She only need me 4-8 pm mon-fri. I'm happy to do this and just do weekend childminding or if I can find other mindee to fill the morning is a lot better.

Please someone can help or any idea? Can she hire me as reg childminder but it's goin to be in her place?

Nanny registration, payment etc is very different to childminder.

In the first instance I suggest you ring Ofsted - 0300 123 1231.

Thanks Sarah! Spoke to Ofsted today and they will send me a form for variations to add on my certificate as home childcarer(nanny). Yippee! I don't need to pay anything. Soo relieved!
