Who will be first to have their inspection under new EYFS, now this is one comp I don't want to be first in, :eek::eek::eek:, overdue by 4 months.

I had my first in March so really hope i don't get a call for atleast another year :)

Waiting for my first graded inspection. Had a call in August but I wasn't working (just starting up and I work term time only) and I need to contact them this week or next to get back in their system.
If Mrs O is reading, I'd like to be at least in October please :D

Not due til February 2014 but who knows now we have had changes:panic: would like it whileeverything is up to date, who knows what my paperwork will be like in 2014 bit scatty in that department:blush:

No there number comes up:laughing: when I moved house I had called to change everything and they called back about 15 mins later to double check something I pooped myself haha (as I thought they may have gone ah, lets get her before she moves heehee)
shh i had mine in the sept when it changed last time so im due now knowing my luck it will be me . but tbh i dont care all my paperwork is upto date so playing waiting game now..

I had a strange number on my phone - so I answered thinking it was them. And it was some grotty ignorant saleperson who told me rather rudely that she wanted to speak to dh and it was a private business call for him.
Well needless to say i had prepped myself for ofsted and gave her short shift and she didnt get to talk to dh :D

My friend had her first inspection yesterday and said she felt it went well. That's all I could get out of her though.
Think she was due in Jan, but didn't have any kids at the time, and then they rung her again in April time for an update, so she expected them out before Aug.

Its will be exactly one year tomorrow i had inspection.....!!!!!!! Dont like the feel of it. i can still feel the pressure. :panic:

oh bless you'll be fine, better to get it out the way. At least this way they won't expect you to have much evidence yet, under revised eyfs, I was one of the first to get inspected first in 2008, and i'd just come off maternity, didnt hav a clue really lol, but I still got a good. Make sure you let us know how you go. Good luck.;)

Thanks! They called back yesterday, She is coming the week after next now. she did sound lovely on the phone, then i saw a thread on here from years ago stating the inspector I have got coming is v hard to please..... Oh dear lol x

Look through some local reports with her inspector name on, will give you an idea of what shes normally hot on.

My inspection is due in March 2013. But we have some good cheer...Another CM in a county not far from me has managed to get 'Outstanding' in the new inspection :) :clapping: So it can't be that bad.

i was due inspection december11.thought i would get one once the new eyfs is up in running.even though i have had almost another year im still not ready!!!

I had the call, but on hols so she said it should be after the 24th. This will be my first inspection I am so not looking forward to it

Have not heard of any being done so far, perhaps they are still training the inspectors to make sure they know what they are doing, well perhaps lol. Fingers crossed its not me but have a while to go before I am due again phew, Looking forward to hearing how other have got on with this new inspection so good luck to all who are due:)

Had mine on Monday. Only had EYFS chn for 4 weeks so not much chance to demonstrate planning linked to observations etc but went fine & the inspector was pleasant and reasonable, relatively easy to talk to without feeling massively stressed - and if you knew me you'd know that this was amazing!

At our latest county meeting we were told that on sept 1st the inspection cycle was starting again which meant that any one due one this year may not be inspected for another 3 years! On the reverse anyone who had had one in the last year may get another this year! I was due back in March but now have absolutely no idea when my turn will come.
