I keep mine in an A4 notebook - a page a week, I write down fees paid, outings and cost, travel costs, food costs, resources, stationary, insurance/fees etc. I number receipts to correspond with the entry and staple them to the page. In the back I keep bank statements, water bills, council tax etc to add those fees in. I then hand it over to my accountant and smile sweetly and wait for her to tot it all up for me!! It is a simple enough way even if you work it out yourself as I used to do before going down the road of capital expenses and getting too much of a headache!

I have always used the NCMA Accounts book.
