I've got a childminding sign from Vistaprint on my driveway gates and yesterday while I was getting the children out of the car a lady stopped to ask if I was the childminder.

She was moving out from the village and the country and wanted to get rid of some toys. She asked if I wanted them.
So she brought some round this afternoon and amongst it all was this.

The children love it, there is a box full of horsey toys as well

a few years ago i saw an advert on freecycle offering a couple of scooters for the garden ... i replied and 2 minutes later the phone rang and it was an old mum who was offering the scooters! she said she didn't know why she hadn't thought of me ;) but yes, of course i could have the scooters. i said i would come and pick them up, she said she was passing in 20 mins and would drop them off ... she did, along with a huge box of lego & duplo, games, puzzles and for the next few weeks i would often get home and find more stuff on my doorstep! she told me to charity shop anything i didn't want!
