fire evacuation plan

hi, my garden is not registered , but would it still be ok to put it on my fire evac plan as a way out? i know this is probably a stupid question!

I do the drills each month out of the front doors, could i write in my evac plan that although i will not use this exit for the drills that i would use it in the event of an actual emergency?

In an emergency situation you might have no option but to go out into the back garden so yes, I would put that in my plan. It is not the same as using it for play - we evacuate by the front door but my front garden is not gated so not safe for the children to play in iykwim.

thanks, thats what i thought but i'm having a panicking day and am doubting myself lots today :(
