I was asked yesterday by our childrens centre if I would speak to an Ofsted Inspector about how we work together so I said she could ring me today as I have no children and would be able to give her my attention. Well she rang this morning and we discussed the centre and then started talking childminding in general and I asked if she had heard about the deregulation and she said she had read abit about it and how did I feel as a childminder so I told her that although we dont particularly like being inspected that we wished to be still under the umbrella so to speak , so then I asked her if she had heard about the petition tbat childminders had about it and she said no. So I have given her the link and she sounded very interested and is going to log on later and have a look, I did suggest that if she liked what she saw she could sign and get her collegues to do the same !! well we will have to see. xxShe sounded one very sensible inspector I have to say .

Oh well done :D

Individuals are able to sign as themselves - no matter who they work for.

I hope he inspector tell her colleagues
