I have a lovely corner display cupboard that was really expensive when I bought it, I am trying to donate it to charity. Compton hospice came this morning and said what a beautiful piece it is but even though they could pick it up and put it in the van they were worried the people the other end would not be able to handle it for delivery! so they decided to leave it. Im so annoyed cos I have waited 2 weeks for them to come.
Does anyone know of anywhere else that will collect good quality furniture its in my way xx

I have used Haven housing trust before but don't know if it is local. We had lots of problems trying to get rid of my mums furniture after she died as it didn't have all the H&S documents!!

The British Heart Foundation has several furniture and electrical stores around the country they collect for free google them and see if they have a store near you.

We used the British Heart Foundation to recycle our sofa - they were excellent.
