first enquiry!!!

oh my god im sooo nervous had my first enquiry today about a little girl age 3 for 3 days a week, both parents are coming to see me on friday. i have got a folder with all policies and procedures in and iv put together a parent pack but i am so nervous. what shall i do when they come? what sort of questions should i ask? advice appreciated

Be yourself, let them ask their questions, give them a tour of the parts of the house you will use, give them your stuff to read while you're making a drink ... you'll be fine!

also they want the place from sept so assuming they chose me would i charge a retainer from now to sept if so how much?

i would be yourself hun, and ask questions bout the child and family and ask them if they have questions for you too ... coz some ppl want ask stuff but wont as no intro when too lol

its up to you bout a retainer fee tbh ... would be good to tho. xx

Good Luck. I have just signed someone for September and took a non-refunable deposit of 1 month. If they take the place this will come off the first months' fees but if they change their mind it's mine.:D

Show them your folder and let them have a read while you sit and chat with the child

Let them ask questions along the way and use that as a guide to get to know them a little

Ask them about their child - likes / dislikes etc
Let them know your rules etc

Show them around so they know where their little one will be playing etc
