Hi. I am filling in my application form for the early years register(form EYC). I am confused by the question about provision in section E.
The question says-
'Please specify the age ranges and number of chidren you will care for:
Birth to one year...Number of children...
1 year to the end of the early years age group... Number of children....'
It goes on to ask if I intend to care for children over 8 and how many I would be caring for.
I know I can only look after one child under one year old, but if I don't have a child under one then I could obviously look afer more children aged over one. I also want to provide care for older children in the school holidays.
How many should I put down in the boxes? I hope this makes sense to everyone.

6 children under 8 of whom 3 are under 5 (in the early years) - 1 of the 3 can be a baby.

Hth :D

I'm stuck on this question at the moment. I know all my ratios, but the way the question is worded doesn't let you give the correct answers.

Birth to under one year - 1
One year to the end of the early years age group - 3 or 2 more if you have a baby under one year
End of the early years age group to under 8 years - 6 or 3 more if you have 3 in the early years group

Not sure what to put.
