I have been to my son's graduation today. He has a foundation degree and is returning in September to do a third year top up so he has a full BSc in Sports Coaching and Performance. I was very proud to see him in his cap and gown, I had to fight back the tears. His dad and I both left school at 16 with a handful of CSE's, so we had never been to a graduation before. Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE was attending and gave a wonderful speech. All in all it has been a lovely day.
