Oh I saw that earlier.

Of course I don't want money as payment I always give my Mortgage Company a big hug each month as payment ;) (I wish!) Isn't that how we all pay our Mortgages?

Seems a little odd that the minder would suddenly decide, after a year, to start charging a part time family as if they were a full time family. I can see the whole charging while at nursery argument, but how can the minder suddenly change the rules and start charging, after a year, for hours that have never been part of the contract.

Hopefully the mum will be able to find alternative care.

Parent has turned round and said childminder no longer enoughh and wants childminder to pick up from other provision, may be childminder is finding it hard to cope with half fees for a ful, time place.

Parents made the decision to change if it doesn't suit the childminder why she just put up with it. It's not like the childminder made the change first.

Hmm I read this with interest I think the thing quite a lot of them were missing was the fact that the CM has probably just taken the opportunity to review the contract as the parent has changed the terms. The way some of them are going on about it you would think it was the other way around.

At the end of the day it could that the CM wants rid of the parent and this is an easy way to do it or simply can't afford to live on what she's bringing in. Particularly liked the one who suggested she only did it for the children not the money and the comment about well why don't you do it for free

Your never going to please all of the people all of the time, I'm astonished that my mothers had to pay a solicitor £1000 just to sign some forms with regards to my grans estate, what's that all about, I'm in the wrong job, lol. X
