I currently look after a 9 month old who will be 11 month in September. I have just had an enquiry for a 10 month old to start in September. Will i still need to ring ofsted for permission to look after 2 under 1s??? Or should i tell the new parent that i cannot do it till my current baby is one??? Not sure with new EYFS coming out soon!

I would phone Ofsted anyway and ask! I need a varition for 2 days at the end of August as current baby I mind not 1 until very end, new starter (7 months) starting Sept but now needs a few days before.
I have had to complete a varition form for this. (not yet had anything back though) at least if you phone and they have record of it.

I would ring Ofsted. I know the rules change in September but the self-variation only applies to mindees siblings and your own children.
