hi i had my inspection a couple of weeks ago i am based in manchester region and any minder who hasent completed the cypop 5 within 6 months of registration will be marked as inadequate :-( which happened to me. some minders are getting away with this and arent even being asked about it but just wanted to give everyone a heads up :-)
i ****** passed the week after my inspection arghhhhhhh

Oh what a shame, I think it depends on the individual inspector some times which is so wrong.

That is a real shame - what bad luck for you - I hope you kick their *** on your next inspection!
In Devon we have to pass the unit before we even apply :(
Just out of interest - because you have been marked inadaquate does that mean you get another inspection sooner rather than later? Would be really great if you get the chance to improve on it sooner rather than later.
Also is it worth you appealing? Seems unfair if you have been picked up on it and others haven't?
