Hello

can anyone tell me if I do one contract for each sibling (I'm getting a brother and sister) or do I just do 1 contract with the mother and name both children on it?

What do you do???

Thanks

I do separate contracts for each child even if they are from the same family

I have one for each sibling but i have them both different hours. I have the older one for just an hour and half in the morning before school and i have the youngest one 7.30 - 4.30 so needed 2 seperate contracts.

Dont know what i would do if they wanted the same hours though.

You are taking on 2 children...

It doesn't matter if they're from the same family or not, they are individuals and need their own paperwork :D

I only use 1 contract per family and specify the differences for siblings in prices, hours and all that in "additional info" section (NCMA). But each child has their own child record forms, permissions and the rest.

Oh, word of caution. If you offer a sibling discount, do it for the older child (as they'll be with you less if they are in school or due to start) and also, make sur eparents know that if you only have 1 child, the higher fee applies. For example, I have M and K and offer a £1.00 sibling discount, so M is £2.50 and K is £3.50. But there have been days (teacher trainings and such) when I have M during the day on his own and charged £3.50. The discount is only in effect when I have both children. Put that in the contract.

Blimey, I've just waqffled on and on cos I couldn't get the words to come out right!
