Hi All,

Im quite new to childminding and just wondered if anyone could tell me how to log starting points correctly? :panic:

Watch and listen - starting points are your initial observations.

Link them to the Eyfs Development Matters guidance for around the child's age and watch how the child progresses in the future :D

You can also use information from parents about what their child can do - either fill in an "all about me" type sheet (some in free downloads) or just jot down anything parents tell you about their child's development.
