Moving and Ofsted...

Hi All

I will be moving soon and I just wondered if anyone on here has been through this and what I will have to do.

I'm assuming Ofsted will come out to inspect my new premises?

Is there any financial cost of moving with regards to Oftsed? And are there any other hoops I will have to jump through??

Hi, when I moved I informed ousted. They sent out a form I had to fill out, which included measuring up all the rooms I was going to use for childminding and list all the resources I had. They didn't come out, and once they had received the form and checked everything was ok, they sent me out a new certificate with new address.
I don't know if that's what they do with everybody, but that's what happened with me.

I hope that helps and good luck with your moving, it can be stressful, but try and take it easy, and once settled and ready to start childminding again, inform ofsted.
