I'm still new to this as I'm not yet registered, but trying to do everything right! I've so far bought a fair bit online and have noticed that the VAT number doesn't always appear on invoices. Is the invoice valid without it or should I be contacting sellers for another receipt? I don't want to end up out of pocket if I have loads of invalid invoices, if that makes any sense?

Like us, people are only VAT registered if their turnover is over a certain threshold. Not everyone who sells you something will be VAT registered if they don't have a high enough income.
As you are not VAT registered, you won't be using your receipts or invoices to claim VAT, you will be using them as proof of purchase. The receipts and invoices you have are absolutely fine :thumbsup:
