Summerative Assesment.

The time has co me for my 6 montly summerative assesments. How do you all do these. Mine tend to be very long winded so I am wanting to change them.

I am also completing the tracker for them.

Mine is an A4 sheet of paper with 8 boxes on it - one for each learning and development area; one for next steps; one for parents comments.

Mine are similar to Miffy's summaries - short and sweet.

I talk a bit about what the child has achieved and what we are working on next :D

i do the same as miffy and sarah and also add an 'idea for playing at home' ... something they can do at home or hopefully, are already doing ;)

oh, and i also have a box for what the child likes to do!
