Claiming for a External Hard drive

Hi wondered if any one could give me some advice.

I have just purchased an external hard drive to keep a back up f all my paperwork, photos etc.

Is this something I can claim back in my accounts?

if you ONLY put childminding stuff on there, accounts, photos etc, I think that is perfectly reasonable.

I have one, it is just used for my computer and so for family stuff as well. I claimed a % of it in my expenses.
