hi there, any advice would be gratefully recieved, electric is on a key meter so this is quite easy to work out how much ive used each week, please help to work out my gas, i try to pay £50 each month towards the gas bill, so it builds up a bit in the summer and i have a head start towards the more expensive bills in the winter, is it reasonable to claim the percentage allowed from this amount each week and then do an adjustment either when the bills come in or at the end of the year when doing the tax return and i have a more accurate figure, hope you know what i mean or any ideas greatfully recieved, many thanks

I take my yearly figure and use that at the end of the year

I think in your case I would wait until the end of the tax year and work it out then when you have a proper bill.:)
