I have been working out mindees meals on an average so far. I put in my expenses £3.00 a day for full time mindees and £1.50 a day for after schoolies. This takes into account all snacks, juice, milk, hot meal at lunch time. Just wondering, if I take them for ice cream, can I claim that extra or would that be classed as part of the amount I already claim? Took mindees to shop last night for ice creams after the library after school and it cost me £7!!!:eek:

Hi hun no you can put that as extra i am now putting £4 per day this covers the 3 meals plus 2 snacks and i think you need to charge more for afterschoolers as the ones i know are always wanting more lol big appetites, glad your up and running now hun well done :):clapping:

Ice Creams are extra. Put down your actual cost

Looking at your costs, they seem very low to me. Can you actually feed a child with milk, yoghurt, fruit and raisons etc for £3 a day? I can't.

When I use to do a per meal calculation I did it on one child here because some days it could be just that.

Now I use my receipt and claim actual use

I would put ice-creams down as a separate expense
